TUTORING

Tutoring Options For All Ages

Our unique, virtual tutoring program serves general and special education scholars K-12 and GED candidates in a variety of subjects like math, science, social studies, language arts, and STEM.

THINK TWICE LEARNING FOCUSES

Regardless of a student's ability level, we target the following critical mental processes to target weaknesses:

  • Executive Functioning: Help students improve self-awareness, self-motivation, and working memory by promoting time management and accountability in school and at home.
  • Lower-Order Thinking (LOT): As our tutors engage with children, they reinforce LOT by memorizing and understanding information, essential in reading, writing, number operations, and answering multiple-choice questions.
  • Higher-Order Thinking (HOT): We have structured our program to help students like yours develop their problem-solving skills and achieve the highest level of learning and creativity.

SUPPORT FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS

Think Twice Tutoring and Advocacy Services (TTTAS) understands the struggles parents face in ensuring their child gets the best education possible. There are not many places adults can go to get a complete understanding of how to navigate general programs, special education, or gifted services, which is where we come in.

WHO ARE THE TUTORS?

TTLS tutors are college members, university graduates, and certified teachers who are trained to ensure that learners experience the best possible academic outcomes. Our educators use their personal experiences to connect scholars to content area skills and lived experiences as we reinforce the value of learning.

LET US HELP YOUR SPECIAL STUDENT

Some students have difficulty with the input, output, and processing of information. TTLS will design an individualized program to help students strengthen mental processing and executive functioning, which will reduce learning stress.

TEACHING THROUGH MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE

  • Musical learners are students who often dance, recite lyrics and poetry, and play an instrument. These great listeners easily learn grammar, music, numbers, and rhymes.
  • Interpersonal learners are social and often are a part of community gatherings. They perform well in groups and are influenced by their peer input.
  • Intrapersonal learners are independent thinkers and prefer to work alone. They may not take risks in front of large audiences. They are the opposite of interpersonal learners.

  • Existential learners seek the meaning of life and death and anything in between. These reflective learners do well with knowing how concepts are connected as they search for deeper meanings.
